August 2007 - SW asked to demonstrate LiveNote at the ILTA Conference LiveNote, a Thomson West company, has requested that Sclafani Williams demonstrate their product at the International Legal Technologies Association (ILTA) conference. The event - ILTA's 30th Annual Conference - is being held in Orlando, Florida from August 20th to 23rd 2007. LiveNote will showcase a LiveNote Stream deposition with both video and transcript. The deposition will be streaming to the computers and monitors surrounding their booth, so that while the deposition goes forward, the ILTA attendees will be able to interact with the attorneys in the depos through the LiveNote software. Donna Peterson and Jamie Hollingsworth will represent Sclafani Williams
at the show. August 2006 - New St. Pete Location Effective August 21st 2006, Sclafani Williams St. Petersburg location moves into their new, central offices in the Aura Executive Center at 695 Central Avenue, Suite 150, St. Petersburg, FL 33710. February 2005 - Sclafani Williams shares court reporting expertise Shela Ellis and Susan Wasilewski represented Sclafani Williams Court Reporters at the South Florida Community College Career Fair in Avon Park on February 3, 2005. Shela and Susan shared their court reporting expertise with hundreds of area high school juniors, seniors, and community college students. They were among 200 professionals representing hundreds of occupations who took time out to connect with students at the Seventh Annual High School & College Career Fair. August 2004 - Daytona offices join the fun! Sclafani Williams celebrated the renovation of their Corporate Office back in May and now they are enjoying another facelift in their Daytona Beach office. July 2004 - Susan D. Wasilewski achieves certification April 2004 - Sclafani Williams participates in Career Fair. On April 29, 2004, SW court reporters Susan Wasilewski and Jennifer Gaul participated in a Career Fair with the Orange County Bar Association and the Central Florida Paralegal’s Association at the Cypress Creek High School in Orlando. Also present were attorneys and paralegals. Susan and Jennifer demonstrated for the students realtime court reporting and spoke about the wonderful opportunities there are for those joining the profession in not only judicial court reporting but in broadcast captioning and CART opportunities. There was an estimated 300 students present for the Career Fair. April 2004 - Sclafani Williams provides services to First Annual Progressive Technology Mock Trial. A mock trial was held on April 23, 2004 at the Orange County Courthouse Digital Courtroom 23. Two Sclafani Williams reporters provided realtime court reporting services. This First Annual Progressive Technology Mock Trial showcased realtime court reporting, electronic discovery, computer forensics, digital trial graphics and new broadband wi-fi. The event was sponsored by the Orange County Bar Association. April 2004 - Sclafani Williams hosts luncheon. Sclafani Williams hosted a Professional Assistants Day luncheon in Daytona Beach on April 21, 2004. Chef Papa catered and 135 professional assistants attended along with Sclafani Williams staff and court reporters. January 2004 - Narup Vouvakis & Associates becomes a Sclafani Williams company. Narup Vouvakis & Associates have been court reporters in Central Florida for over 30 years and have built a reputation for quality service and dependability throughout Central Florida. The firm utilizes the most qualified reporters and state-of-the-art technology in the area. As of January 1st 2004 Sclafani Williams is pleased to announce that Narup Vouvakis & Associates is now a Sclafani Williams company. With the addition of Narup Vouvakis, Sclafani Williams has become one of the largest court reporting firms, servicing the I-4 Corridor coast to coast.
